I used to be generally poor in keeping my promises but lately I've been unable to keep even the smallest where art is concerned... Real life woes, conflicts have been getting in the way. No matter how much I love to draw it's like I've got these monstrous panthoms peering over my shoulder haunting my tools... You know the lot, family expectations, personal doubts, identity issues and what not. On a good day I'm pretty good so I've accepted so far. Problem is good days are far and in between. Oh, I've kept on drawing, but really nothing as focused as I would deem 'fit' for deviant art... And yet I might be judging too harshly, listening too much to the phantoms... feeding me all sorts of excuses.

The highest, and quite possibly mortal excuse was the reasoning that I can't ever draw for a living and since I'm well into the twenties so I really really really don't want to impose myself on family any longer (besides they add into my should-not-draw) burden.
